Facts
- Sample fire bricks received; plan to source locally (low value, heavy).
- On 3kW fiber cutting, table can go red-hot from absorbed beam.
- From 6kW upward, excess beam can damage the table — place fire bricks at key positions, generally closer to the nozzle (farther areas get hot but may not burn through). Protects table and reduces flashbacks.
- Place bricks as the last step after move (heavy; otherwise machine immovable). No fixed pattern — ok everywhere, even on floor. Same style as pizza-oven fire bricks; mortar optional (client may mortar to protect floor).
- Useful on lower wattage too but usually unnecessary.
- SKU: AG-FIREBRICK/10 — sell in packs of 10, sized for carrying.
- Review-after: 2027-03-01 (ongoing product knowledge).
