# Quote-paid cancel before collect → refund (IA)

**Lesson (b100 GH4441-CARL-2):** Client can pay on quotation without tax invoice, then cancel before collect.
1. Confirm owning rep cancelled the order in BB.
2. Confirm POP/credit line matches stem (suffix tick CARL2 vs CARL-2).
3. Do not re-ask POP if images already on first refund mail.
4. Never promise refund date without accounts confirm.
