# Cross-border refund — do not trust Ephraim "processed" alone

When client refunds to a non-SA bank (e.g. FNB Botswana) for stock-unavailable stems, human finance must confirm the actual transfer. Ephraim "refund processed / 5–7 days" is not proof of payout. Never store foreign account numbers in CRM/export/KB.
