# Overseas-origin POP — credit note default, not overseas bank refund

For credit on a stem paid from an overseas bank (e.g. TN7403-GARETH-15 / Joint Fabrication), AML policy: refund only to the bank account that made the payment; **do not refund to overseas banks**. Default answer is a **credit note for future purchases**. If the client later supplies a local SA account and accounts@/Eric approve a cash refund after confirmation, that is a human exception — never invent a SA refund path while the payment origin was overseas. Ephraim restating credit-note/AML is OK; do not invent Revolut→Capitec auto-refund.
