# USD SWIFT/correspondent fee ≠ client underpayment

When BB/BuyThis shows less USD/ZAR than the quotation POP, check the SWIFT/MT103 advice before chasing the client.

- Client may have sent the full amount; their bank can deduct a correspondent fee so AM receives less.
- Human confirms from bank advice; do not auto-invoice the fee delta as shortfall.
- Never store SWIFT passwords, OTP, or full bank docs in digests/export.
