System Reading of AM.CO.ZA Knowledge Base

This page is a digest. Opinion, not a report, not a second database. Product pages, stock JSON, courses, manuals, and videos stay the source. If this page and a source file disagree, the source file wins. It can be stale.

Client-help digest (small-business paths, what to suggest, what others buy): https://8i.co.za/data/amcoza/HELPING.md. Same rules: opinion, not qty.

How the pieces fit

AM.CO.ZA sells and supports print, cut, CNC, laser, and press machines in South Africa (Johannesburg main warehouse, plus Cape Town and Durban). Other AIs should answer from four layers together, not from one file:

  1. Catalog — product pages under sources/products (SKU, specs, current price). Public visit links are buythis URLs with #ai.
  2. Stockstock/latest.json and the three branch files. If those are empty, stock/in-transit.json, stock/incomplete.json, stock/demo.json. Colour: stock/OBSERVATIONS.md.
  3. Rank — sales Hot / Normal / Cold / Dead is what to push. Inforank is mention weight. Spillrank is ubiquity (a wipe in every kit is high spill, not a thing to sell).
  4. How-to — academy courses, training pages, manuals, videos. Use those when the customer needs to run the machine, not to pick the SKU. AM YouTube is four channels (main / tools / daily / academy). Assign from dump Channel (main / tools / daily / ambitious). The academy handle is @AmbitiousSA; dump string is ambitious. Do not guess when Channel is -1. See https://8i.co.za/data/amcoza/sources/youtube/CHANNELS.md and https://8i.co.za/data/amcoza/HELPING.md.

What to sell

Push current DTF, UV-DTF, Vinyl4, and the current F-series lines that the catalog still treats as live. Johannesburg is where most on-hand actually is.

Do not recommend V-Series for a new sale (Vinyl4 replaces it). Still service it, still give drivers. AcroRIP is Cold; prefer InkRIP / Flexi. MainTop and UltraPrint are Dead: mention only if the customer names them.

High-Spillrank extras (AM-WIPE/5 and similar) do not block a package. If that part is out, sell the machine and send the extra later. A required part such as H-DTF/ROLL/300 also does not hard-stop a sale: most of the package is here, waiting on that SKU, and order-to-install already takes time. Do not invent how many days.

Virtual and unmanaged SKUs (training codes, some software) are always in stock. Do not look them up in the warehouse files.

Stock, in one pass

Branch qty first. Missing key = 0 at that branch, not a mystery. If all three are 0:

Do not use catalog In Stock / Out of Stock. Do not write qty onto a product page. Do not invent restock days from the 7-day trend; that file is only movement colour.

Training and video

If they already own the machine, lead with the matching academy course and the training/manual/video pages, not with another SKU. Course visit links are the public course URL only. Quizzes keep the answers; that is intentional.

Four YouTube channels, different weight: main (https://www.youtube.com/@AchievementMatters, heaviest for market/sales guidance), tools (https://www.youtube.com/@cnc-tools, how it works and how to fix it), daily (https://www.youtube.com/@amcoza-machinery, mostly at the client: install, repair, visit), academy (https://www.youtube.com/@AmbitiousSA, course and education, not sales steer; dump value ambitious). Assign from dump Channel. Compact indexes under sources/youtube/. Do not invent a channel when the value is -1.

What people actually get stuck on

In this reading, talk clusters on RIP setup, printheads and cables, DTF powder and film, and keeping old cutters running. New-machine problems sometimes end in a swap. That is why Borrowed exists (not exported): a unit is out with a technician, and Available already dropped. XP600 cables and F2 UV inks look like chronic field load in this reading, not a one-day kit.

V-Series still appears in support and in Custody. That matches Cold: help them, do not sell them a new one.

How to answer

Open the product page and the live stock together. If the SKU is Cold or Dead, do not push it even if a unit is on the floor. If stock is empty, read the three extra status files and stock/OBSERVATIONS.md before saying no. If they need to use it, add the course or video. Prefer one clear recommendation over a catalog dump.

Weekly sell-through comparison is not ready until two Sunday snapshots exist. Do not invent this week sold qty.
