Pirated software is dangerous for consumers, as it could contain viruses including trojans, crypto viruses and/or malware / ransomware and could cause harm or fuel global organised crime. The unauthorised reproduction or distribution of **AM.CO.ZA® AcroRIP**® software is illegal.

It is also unlawful to knowingly purchase illegitimate copies of software. The FBI’s Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) program investigates theft of trade secrets, counterfeit products, and copyright and/or trademark infringement cases. Criminal copyright infringement, including infringement without monetary gain, is investigated by the FBI and is punishable by fines and federal imprisonment.

If you believe you may have received a pirated version of V10 or newer software, you can report it for further investigation at Innocent victims will be protected, but all available remedies will be pursued against will full infringers, including civil pursuit of treble monetary damages, statutory and punitive damages.

Significant costs and efforts have gone into the development and launch of V10 and newer versions of the **AM.CO.ZA® AcroRIP**® software, which has been made exclusively available from authorised resellers.
