**Major Upgrade Notice (e.g. v1.0.8.x → v1.0.9.x)**

Before installing a major FabricCAM™ upgrade, please **uninstall** the existing FabricCAM™ version first. Then, using Windows Explorer, **delete any remaining files** in the install folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\FabricCAM\

This is important because **default database values may be retained**, which can cause upgrade issues if old files remain.
