Starting up and shutting down a printer can be a simple but important process that can affect the lifespan and quality of your prints. However, many users may be unsure of the correct procedure for starting up and shutting down this printer. In this article, we will provide a step-by-step guide to help you safely and efficiently start up and shut down your FastCOLOUR Xp600 printer, ensuring that you get the best possible results from your printing projects.

Unclamp Drain Pipe Clamp to Waste Bottle (if closed)

Switch-on Printer and let it Initialise.

Press Left arrow Key to move away Print-Head from Cap Station, Continue to Press LEFT ARROW KEY (STARTPOS) until head reaches the Left Service Station. If does not reach entirely, Switch off Printer and move manually.

Use F-UV/WIPE to wipe gently under the Print-Head and use Left Service Station Reflective Panel.

Use Wipe to clean off Excess Inks on the Rubber WIPER for Print-head and also the f-INK/Cap/xp600.

Switch -ON Printer, let it initialise and Bring Head back to Station.

Press Right Arrow Key (Maintenance) Scroll down for Inking/Manual (Which ever you prefer) Run for NOT more than 10 sec.

Scroll down for Wipe Nozzle, press OK

Scroll up and Run 2xNozzle Clean.

Scroll up and RUN Nozzle Test, if more than 85% GOOD then print this TEST PRINT to help Printer open up Nozzles ELECTRONICALLY rather than running Excessive Cleans.
If Print Good, carry on with the Days Prints. Wiping below Print-Head, Ink Cap, and Nozzle Wiper does also help with Ink Dropping on Material and Left OVER wiped Inks below Print-Head Carriage.
Switch OFF Procedure:

Press Left arrow Key to move away Print-Head from Cap Station, Continue to Press LEFT ARROW KEY (STARTPOS) until head reaches the Left Service Station. If does not reach entirely, Switch off Printer and move manually.
