# TruCUT software notes

English pointers from the local cncu.co.za mirror (`T:\U\C\TruCUT-CO2-Laser-Machine`). **No pricing.** Software installers / ZIPs / firmware binaries are **not** copied into this KB (URL + local path only). Copied English manuals live under `sources/manuals/trucut/software/` and `sources/manuals/trucut/ruida/`. Controller firmware is in `drivers/trucut-firmware-index.md` (10 MPC packages + Express gap-fill this pass). **Newer wins.**

## RDWorks V8 (current Ruida desktop)

Newest installer on the local mirror: `Ruida Motion Control\RDWorks V8 Setup 8.01.67 - 20250405.exe` (~151 MB). Older twins: 8.01.63 (20230313), 8.01.60, 8.01.52, 8.01.48. **Prefer 8.01.67.** English user manual copied to `manuals/trucut/software/RDWorks-V8-Laser-Engraving-Cutting-Software-User-Manual.pdf` (online HTTP 200).

USB driver: `Machine USB Driver\` (and Ruida `Raida RDWorks USB Driver\`). Install only if connecting the laser by USB cable instead of flash drive. English install PDF copied.

Firmware images stay as URL pointers. Support WhatsApp +27 60 600 7000. Only flash when support directs (wrong board can brick).

## TruCUT-Express / LaserCEO

Prefer **CNELaser-x64-0.5.10.19-released** (ZIP HTTP 200). Older 0.5.10.11 / 0.5.10.7 and `LaserController x86 v20210609` kept as pointers. `BIN Files\AT_Laser22080418.bin` HTTP 200. USB serial inf/sys drops (`mdmcpq.inf`, `usbser.sys`) are driver files, not copied. Release notes for LaserCEO are mixed Chinese/English — not copied. English conversion wiring (~16.3 MB) copied; 47.1 MB scan skipped as huge media.

## CCD / vision

Copied under `manuals/trucut/ruida/`: RDC Mark Vision (USB + network camera), RDE Mark Vision, RDVision, RDVisionWorks, LSWorks visual. Use with TruCUT-CCD contour cutting.

## USB / Ethernet

- USB cable install PDF copied.
