# V-Auto software notes

English pointers from the local cncu.co.za mirror (`T:\U\C\V-Auto-Vinyl-Cutting-Plotter`). **No pricing.** Software installers / ZIPs / firmware binaries are **not** copied into this KB (URL + local path only). V-Auto is the optical-contour / wireless vinyl-cutter line (SKU family **V6-**). Distinct from V-Smart (`manuals/vsmart/`), Vinyl4 successor for new sales (`manuals/vinyl4/`), obsolete V-Series (`manuals/vseries/`), and V-Auto Label (`manuals/vautolabel/`).

- Unused English `V-Smart, V-Smart+ and V-Auto Power Supply Exchange.pdf` from the V-Auto product root copied as `manuals/vauto/V-Smart-V-Smart-Plus-and-V-Auto-Power-Supply-Exchange.pdf` (~225 KB / 230031 bytes / 1 p MD5 `9B3E2C77F43FC34D715BAEEB857F24DD` live HEAD **200** Content-Length match).

- VinylCut: same family as V-Smart; readme MD5 twins skipped.
- 2016+ Model FTDI USB Driver PDF is a **size twin** of V-Smart FTDI (not re-copied). Extra drivers: ftdichip.com VCP page (`manuals/vauto/plugins/Download-Latest-Drivers-from-FTDI.txt`).
