# Vinyl4 -- Software Notes

Pointers only. **No pricing.** Installers / huge Mini Cutter binaries are **not** copied into this KB.

Vinyl4 **supersedes V-Series for new sales** (Hobby / Studio / Business). Bundled design software on SKUs is typically **VinylCut** and/or **SAi FlexiSTARTER** (see catalog `vinyl-cutters.md`). Training: https://softwaretraining.co.za/topic/vinylcut (not mirrored this pass).

Same-major upgrade: overwrite install. Windows 7+ / macOS 10.12+. Canonical download hub also at `cncu.co.za/Other-Softwares/AM.CO.ZA VinylCut...` (not crawled this pass). `readme.txt` is an MD5 twin of `manuals/vsmart/software/VinylCut-readme.txt` -- not re-copied.

## SAi FlexSTARTER

Tiny Vinyl4 device driver encoding **copied** to `manuals/vinyl4/plugins/Vinyl4-Vinyl-Cutter-Driver-for-SAi-FlexSTARTER.enc` (HTTP 200). FlexiSTARTER installers were skipped on V-Series / V-Smart / V-Auto (not re-copied here).
