Software eras

• Since 2019: TruCUT RDWorks system — see RDWorks training videos (SoftwareTraining / related channels; training site crawl deferred).
• Pre-2019 legacy: TruCUT software based on Leetro LaserCut 5.3 OEM with AM.CO.ZA customised UI/settings; distributed via Utility Disk; dongle required; backwards-compatible with Leetro LaserCut 5.3 controllers.

Legacy TruCUT software capabilities (public manual pages)

• Laser cutting, 2D engraving, 3D engraving, perforating, chalk-line/plotting
• Layer management and laser output parameters
• Machine control via USB after proper laser machine driver install
• Download/transfer jobs including Standalone Machine-Oriented Language files (.MOL) via USB cable or USB flash workflow
• Transfer config / current design / laser file to machine memory
• Default units: length mm (0.01 mm), speed mm/s, power % of tube wattage (0-100)

Dongle

USB dongle + dongle driver required to start legacy TruCUT software. Lost dongles must be replaced.
