White-ink dampers mixing with other colours on A3 DTF: the water / waste tank is too tall (a 500 ml cool-drink bottle is too tall). Use a 300 ml cool-drink bottle or a short takeaway sauce bottle.

Blow the valve before fitting. Air passes one way only — that is the install direction. If it blows both ways or neither way, the valve is broken.
