## How to rotate 3D channel letter models (from this page)

4. Unlike Move, you **cannot click anywhere** with the left mouse button to rotate. You have to pick **which ring** to rotate around.
5. Change the **viewport** to the relevant angles so the rings are easier to use (top view for one ring; the green ring snaps to the floor).
6. On the information panel, type exact **X / Y / Z degree** amounts.
7. A **snap** checkbox (shown as 45 on this recording; the live block notes the default as 90) sets the degree increment it snaps to. That increment can be changed (the live block names 180 as an example).
8. Uncheck snap for **freehand** any-degree rotation.
9. Hold **Shift while dragging** with the left mouse button to slow the rotation when the default drag is too sensitive (same idea as Move).
10. A visual reference of the last place stays on screen. **Reset** returns rotation to the original place.
