- After a Windows update, the older vinyl-cutter driver stopped working in CorelDRAW.
- Replacement is **CutTool**: SKU **S-CUTTOOL/BLADE** — plugin for CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator and AutoCAD, for HPGL/DMPL vinyl and flatbed cutters (Windows only). Quoted R1,699 as of this date.
- Also sell CorelDRAW AM.CO.ZA editions that still support AM plugins: **S-CORELDRAW/ESS** Essentials 2021 (quoted R1,699) and **S-CORELDRAW/SUITE** Graphics Suite 2019 (quoted R2,399). Current Corel 2024 list price cited as R12,300.
- Graphics Suite 2019 is the full-feature family; Essentials 2021 is the last Essentials that still supports plugins.
- If a vinyl cutter that used the printer driver or older Corel plugin starts cutting halfway then freeze/stop (often after a Windows update), first workaround is **VinylCut**. **CutTool** (SKU **S-CUTTOOL/BLADE**) is the professional CorelDRAW plugin alternative; it also does contour cutting.
