So today's video can be found on software training.co dot Z A. We make short and easy to watch problem solving videos and we also have daily updates. Now, if we go into the programme here like I mentioned, we're gonna be looking at our contour cut feature. Now this will work on shapes and texts, but when it comes to text, there's a little bit of a trick which we will be looking at. So now let's say I wanna turn this shape into a contour. All I have to do is go to our arrange or contour cut. Should I say, um, all I have to do is go to our range menu on our main menu and we go down to we find contour cut and then we can see here in its drop down. We've got here the make contour cut. I click that and now you can see it is just changed our shape into a contour. So under our material tab as well, you will see there's no more full and so forth. Now what I can do is, um, I can now simply if I wanted to undo that or not undo rather than make it back into a shape and not a contour cut, I can go to a range again, contour cut and then at the bottom, we will see we have the option to release Contour Cut. I click that we'll make it back into a shape for us. But we will have to re, um, set the fill and so forth to get it back to the original. Now let's say I wanted to do it with text. So currently, if I had to go, it's just, uh, zoom. Here we go to, um, arrange, we go to contour cut and you'll see these two are greyed out at the moment. Now you could try break this text apart, so it's individual letters and try, but the same thing will happen. So in order to have text, um, turn into contours or like that, what you have to do is you go to arrange and you'll navigate till you see this one called Convert to Outlines or control shift O. If I had to click this. He's going to turn this text into all individual little shapes. So if I have them selected, I can go arrange contour cut. And then there you can see I can turn this into a contour cut, But just keep in mind with this method, you cannot edit the text anymore so you can't go to your text tool and change it. So, um yeah, that is just something important to note. But you can then do at least the text shapes into contour cuts. But yeah, otherwise that is it. On contour cup. If we head in the meanwhile to you soft bit training.co dot Z A. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover.
