  5. Straight lines vs curves: keep Shift while the left-click is held to constrain a straight line. Release Shift to return to a freehand curve; hold Shift again to start another straight segment. Combine straight segments and gentle strokes (a graphics tablet is named as easier for control). Close the shape when back at the start.
