How to open vs import colour swatches in FlexiPRINT RTUV 22 (from softt transcript)

Raw auto-caption is not invented; cleaned steps below. Softt dump Part 3 covers Open table and Import table on the colour swatch (right-click).

  1. Two options on the colour swatch: right-click → Open table and Import table. They are not the same.
  2. Import table: adds colours from the chosen swatch file into the swatch you right-clicked (merges into the current swatch when multiple swatches exist).
  3. Open table: opens the chosen colour swatch on top of the swatches already open (loads as its own open swatch, not a merge).
  4. Open demo: Open → pick table → Custom colours (the one made earlier) → Open. The custom swatch appears with its two extra colours at the bottom.
  5. Gap on the other open swatch: that swatch may show orange but not AM.CO.ZA blue (closest shown: Cyan / light cyan).
  6. Import demo: right-click the swatch you want to extend → Import tableCustom colours → Open. Scroll the list: AM blue with vendor am.co.za is now present on that swatch.
  7. Recap: Import merges into the right-clicked swatch; Open stacks/opens the swatch above whatever is already open. Closer points to softwaretraining.co.za search + request-training-video form.

Hi there, guys. In today's video, we're gonna be looking at importing and opening colour swatches, and this will be within flexi print. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on software training.co dot Z A and we make sure we need to watch problem solving videos. And we also have daily updates. Now if we head into the programme here. So now, like I mentioned in today's video, we're gonna be looking at importing and opening colour swatches. Now, there is a main difference between the two because, uh, you might at first glance, just think why I have an option for both. So if I rightly get on our colour Swatch, you can see we have here open table and import table. So now the main difference here, what's gonna happen is if I import, it's gonna add the colours to whichever colour swatch we're on. So if we have multiple colour swatches, the one I right, click and say import, it will import those colours from the new Swatch into this current swatch. So I'll quickly, um, I'll demonstrate that, but let's physically go to open so open what that's gonna do that's gonna open the colour swatch on top of this one. So if I go open, I'm gonna go select our table, then go to custom colours. The one we made so open. And now you'll see here on the bottom. We've got our colour swatch with the two extra colours. Now, if you can see on this colour Swatch, we currently do not have AM dot COZ a blue. We do have the orange, though, but, uh not the blue. So the closest we have is these ones. So we've got a Cyan and we've got a light sign, but other than that, it is not there. So now let's try import and see if those colours get added. So I'm gonna right click on this swatch because we're gonna add it to this one. We go import table, go to custom colours, say open, and now we should be able to find it. So let's just go through the list and see if we can find it there. Here we go. So if we are AM blue and then the vendor am.co dot Z A. So otherwise that is it on the import and open swatches. The main difference just for a quick recap importing. We'll add it to the swatch you have right clicked on an opening will open the swatch just on top of whichever swatches are already open. But yeah, in the meanwhile, if we head here to software training.co dot Z A you guys will notice We've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover And you can also isolate your search on the top, right? If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go. Yeah, request the training video, fill in the new form and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise, thank you guys for watching and cheers.
