So today's video can be found on software training dot C At the data you guys will notice. We make short easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates that was back in the programme here and now. I just quick reminder there's a miniseries and working with text, and I will leave the relevant links and description so it's going to follow it along. Otherwise, the reason for using this tool Let's say you've got a design and you want to make sure your text does not go outside certain area, or we want to make sure you've got maintain a certain amount of white space. Then it's a great tool to use. This will also vary depending on if you're using horizontal or vertical text. Obviously, horizontal horizontal axis is important. Vertical vertical axis will be important. So now, with the horizontal text tool selected on a main two by year, what you can do is you just simply left click and you drag a selection block like this blue. And then when you leave it, let's try that again. Sorry, Something's up. Together we go now it's actually working. So let's try to move. The whole text might be stolen with setting up vertical and horizontal paragraph since there we go. So now you can see the white space on the left and right. And we had to go test text. Um, type two. You will see that as soon as we get to this line, it will automatically jump to the next line. And they were also, like I said, the vertical axis. And this one doesn't really matter, cause it's just every time you add a line is kind of just increase that then. Uh okay, So that is it on the basis of constraining it? Obviously, like I mentioned, if we had to go to our vertical text to now, the height will be important. So not so much, except for your starting point. But so if we do something like this, let me do the same text it takes right. So we'll have to change. The paragraph can change it from, uh, left to right. Then you're all type it that way, but just to show you so now, As soon as I get to this line, that will jump to the next one. And like I said when you were working on brochures or anything like that, or where you have to maintain your text within a certain area because these graphics related then this is a great tool. Just a quick recap again. You just want to make sure your text tool selected left, click, hold and drag a selection block. And then there you have it, and your tax will be, um, bound by those boundaries. That is it on. Yeah, constraining your text within a selection block if we head here to software training that said, uh, you guys, almost we've got a variety of different Softwares will recover, and also you can isolate your search on the top, right?
