We recover, and also we make short problem solving videos. Otherwise, back in the programme here Now, just a reminder. There's a miniseries on Working with shapes. We'll leave religion links and description so you guys can actually follow along. So in the last few videos we've been covering creating unique shapes with different methods of snapping, and today we're gonna be looking at the grid, which, in my opinion, is probably one of the more powerful ways or definitely use this, um, over a few of the others. Let's remove this little shape here. So first of all we want to obviously make sure are snapping is enabled before to do that, we can get to view snap. Yeah, well, your different options or you got you at the bottom snap toolbar. And then we just docked it here on the top right? As you hover over, you can see the names pop up. So yeah, we've got snapped grid. So if I enable that and the far right one, which is show grid, then as you can see here, we can currently see the grid. But let's say you want to get a different size. You can obviously work on this size and just to re scale your shape. But let's say you want precise sizes. Then you can go to these two ruler guides for your guides and then double click that little two arrows pointing away as we'll open our ruler in grid settings. And then we can go to the second tail on the grid. And then here we've got the units. So now you can, obviously also with this to show guide dots the dots, but I prefer minus little blocks. Then you can adjust the scale here and just click OK, and then we'll change the grid for you. Then next up, what you wanna do is have something that can create victor tools or vector shapes, which in my case, is the busier curve. All right, keep calling the curve because of different programmes a path to so P. And now, with those two enabled, if you click on the little shapes, it will make me snap it to it. So let's maybe start with something like a basic star, so they we can simply just click on the points we want. Mm. And then once you close the shape, it will make that shape for you. And you know, it is quite accurate. Then you can obviously play around with making some unique shapes. Maybe try a plus. And the nice thing of this is, you don't have to be too accurate cause automatically snaps it to these little points for you. There we go. We've got a plus, and as you can see, it's a single shape. So it's not joining two shapes or so forth, and it's quite an accurate measurement. So, like I mentioned from this, um, methods of snapping to meet personally, this is my favorite because you can get some very nice, symmetrical or sometimes asymmetrical, but a nice symmetrical even shapes. Otherwise, that is it on creating unique shapes with snap to grid or snap to grid. If we had year to software training today, you guys unless you got a variety of different software to cover.
