Whether you’re trying to fit a label perfectly or make sure your logo doesn’t get stretched, the GoPrinter offers **two precise ways** to resize your print: **Encoder Division** and **Proportional Scaling**.

This quick guide explains both methods to help you get the perfect print size every time.

### Method 1: Adjust Width Using Encoder Dividation

Encoder dividation lets you **manually control the print width** while keeping the height the same.

- Switch on your GoPrinter and go to the Print screen.

- Tap Print Set and make sure Encoder Mode is ON.

- Look for the Encoder Division setting (default is 3).

- To shrink the width, lower the number (e.g. 1). For longer prints, raise it above 3.

- Tap OK and return to print. You’ll see your artwork height stays the same, but the width changes based on your new setting.

This is perfect when you want your artwork smaller *horizontally* without affecting its height.

### Method 2: Resize Artwork Proportionally (Both Width & Height)

- Go to the Edit screen.

- Select your artwork by tapping it.

- Use the A+ / A− buttons at the top center to increase or decrease size proportionally.
