# Gutenberg offset models, stations, plates, paper - Source-Date (SAST): 2026-04-12 00:14 - Dest: both - Review-after: 2027-08-31 - Status: current ## Facts - Conventional printers we sell: **offset** (oil-based, smooth paper), **flexo** (many inks/media), **pad**, **screen** (already sold). Offset = lithographic; flexo = flexographic. - Gutenberg offset (newspaper/book/flyer/packaging quality, not magazine): **GL1-6245** single-station single colour; **GL1-6245/SN** single-station dual colour with numbering/perforating; **GL4-6245/N** four-station four colour with numbering/perforating. 300 gsm; max 620×450 mm, min 260×180 mm; print area 600×440 mm. - A station is a printing unit. Dual colour on one station is cheaper than two stations but both inks sit on the rollers, so colours must not overlap (they would mix). Four-station is CMYK; unused stations can print spot instead. - Plates: PS or CTP. AM.CO.ZA does not sell or make plates. Paper must be smooth sheet stock, printing side paper (coating OK), easy to separate, ≤300 gsm. - Numbering/perforating finisher sits before the stacker (serial numbers and perforating). Bind/cut/inspect machines for a full print shop are not sold by AM.CO.ZA.
