## What InkRIP is (from public Part 1)

**AM.CO.ZA InkRIP** is RIP software (**Raster Image Processor**). It translates designs (vector or raster) into a printer-understandable form (e.g. PRN), carrying information such as dots, **ICC colour profiles**, and enabling features like **nesting**, **tiling** (large prints subdivided into panels), and sometimes direct hardware control. It works alongside **control software** (covered in a follow-on video in the same series).

Branding on tutorials consistently says **Software from Advanced Machinery AM.CO.ZA**.
