  "Transcript": "Alright, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at prepping Photoshop or our image so that we can do the two pass colour. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on software training dot c o dot z A. We make short and easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, we're heading into Photoshop here. So now, like I mentioned today, we're gonna be looking at prepping our image so that we can actually use it for double upping our colour. Now there's two main steps we're gonna be taking or that we should be taking. But we will run through both of those. So first of all, this is obviously not one of the steps, but it is a very important part. And that is we wanna go open our image. So you want to navigate to where you have your image saved. I'm just gonna click there, open it. And then now we have this in Photoshop. Now, sometimes you'll have a little lock here on your layer. It will say background and a little lock that you can just unclick the lock in my case, it is currently not locked. Now, in order to do this step, I'm just gonna quickly activate something. So first thing, we're gonna go to window on top here, and then let me just fix my zoom. Here, let me click window, and then we want to navigate down till we find channels. I'm gonna click that, and then it's gonna bring our channels. So now we'll be able to see our colour channels. Now, your channels might be docked somewhere else. And what you can simply do is if you want to buy your layers, just click on the actual channels icon here and then, um, you click and drag it on to another area, and it will pop it there. Or you can just click and drag it straight to where you want it. So in my case, I'm putting it at the bottom. But currently, as you guys might notice, we have a bit of a problem with our channels, and that is that it is currently an r GB. So if our yellow is, um low on our printer, we want to adjust that we currently we only have red, green and blue So in order to do that, we first gonna go year on top to image on our main menu. Let me just fix my zoom again image, and we're gonna go mode. And then from the drop down menu, we're gonna select C M Y K colour. I'm gonna select that. They're gonna ask you Sure you want to do that? I'm gonna say yes. And now if we go back to our channels, you can see there we have C M Y k or black as well. So no longer r GB. So now you can isolate colours. You just take it high away. You can see what it looks like without it. See, if you get I wanna get an idea of what your printing is gonna look like. And, uh, yeah, now we have our actual channels, and this this becomes important once we start adjusting the colour output and that it must be in C m Y k next up, I'm going back to my layers. And then, um, you could make a backup if you wanna or make a duplicate of this. If you wanted a backup, but I'm just gonna leave mine, as is and then, um we want to go through the actual process. And also, the saving can sometimes be quite important. But yeah, just a quick recap again. So what we did in this little video, we added the channels, Uh, that's from our windows. And then we went to channels, click that and then added it here to our layers and then the other step, which was very important as we went to image mode. And we set it to C. M. Y K. So this is most probably the most important step that you want to do is the C M Y K colour mode, and then we are ready to start prepping it. But for prepping, we're gonna save that for the next video. So we don't drag out the video too long. Otherwise that in the meanwhile, if we head gear to software training dot c o dot z a. Guys will notice. We've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover, and you can also isolate your search on the top or right.
