# RayCUT-Lite vs standard RayCUT large fibre lasers - Source-Date (SAST): 2026-06-24 - Dest: both - Review-after: 2027-08-31 - Status: current ## Facts - **RayCUT-Lite** is the budget range: cheaper; repeatability about 1 mm deviation per 5 m of distance. Touchscreen integrated system; analog-signal cutting head. Maximum laser power 6 kW. No plan to go wider than 3 m (structure distortion). 12 m length is not a hard limit, but nobody needs longer in practice. - RayCUT-Lite sizes without table: 1500×3000 **LF-1530L**; 2500×6000 **LF-2560L**; 3000×12000 **LF-3012L**. 2000 W 220 V: **LF-1530L/2000**, **LF-2560L/2000**, **LF-3012L/2000**. 3000 W 380 V: **LF-1530L/3000**, **LF-2560L/3000**, **LF-3012L/3000**. 6000 W 380 V: not available on 1530; **LF-2560L/6000**, **LF-3012L/6000**. - Steel table is manufactured locally; clients are encouraged to make their own (often cheaper). Table-only SKUs: **LF-TABLE/1530L**, **LF-TABLE/2560L**, **LF-TABLE/3012L**. With-table SKUs add a trailing L on the wattage code (e.g. **LF-1530L/2000L**). 2560 and 3012 tables had not been manufactured yet at this date; estimated price may be high, so prefer the client makes them. - **Standard RayCUT**: better accuracy for engineering use; any wattage. Maximum 2 m width and 8 m length so it fits a container. No plan to build standard machines bigger than 2×8 m (container fit, not manufacturing ability). Floor-space ocean freight instead of a container is dramatically more expensive and complex. - Standard RayCUT uses a standalone Windows PC and a digital (EtherCAT) cutting head. Cutting-head model numbers ending **CAT** are EtherCAT: more accurate data, faster response, more reliable. - High-wattage prices change often (usually dropping); give a fresh quote when the client is serious. - Sales steer: for most clients either range is fine. Big plates are usually for a large decorative or structural piece, not many small parts — Lite accuracy is enough. If plate size is bigger than 2×8 m, use only RayCUT-Lite. Otherwise, if the client can afford it, sell standard RayCUT. - A standard 1500×3000 machine is enough when the client does not actually need a huge plate; smaller plates are easier to handle.
