But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mhm. Uh Mm mm. Mhm. So today's video can be found on software training dot c o dot z day. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, back in the programme here. Now, just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries on the extent tools and I will leave relevant links in description so you guys can actually follow a long when it comes to the offset polygon two. This, uh, a rather complex, uh, topic to cover, as is a variety of different reasons why you'd wanna uses, uh, most of the time it's going to be using this if you've made an outline of a bit map. So let's say you've got some unique shape, like a flower or something. Then you can always use this tool to create an extra border around it. Let's say you want engraved on the inside or something in that light. No, but like I mentioned, there's so many different reasons why you'd want to use this so many times. I would recommend rather experiment with a little bit. But in essence, what it does as you can basically, choose with this tool to with whatever shape you've got selected, create either a border, another line on the outside or the inside. So obviously, depending on your shape complex, it will be. And then you can obviously set the worth of it. So you can set any millimetres. Do you want a big border? Small border? And then yeah, uh, but like I said, there are other complex, too. But in essence, what it does is just create another cut line. Obviously said it to what you want, but around your shape or inside your shape that you've got act now to locate it and use it. Obviously, you will need a shape selected. Then you go here on your extent tools panel, and then we'll see what the offset polygon. Um, it's a rather weird icon. So, uh, you can say fit from the right. And then if we click that you'll see we have a few different settings here, in and out. Like I mentioned, we're not gonna go into too much depth. We're just gonna a quick overview. So I'm gonna put on the outside officer. It's gonna be 10 millimetres, so we could have centimetre and then we say, Okay. And then you can see Now we've got the offset line. Exactly. Are now, like I mentioned, if you've got a complex shape, it will create a border for that as well. So this is quite advanced to or it can be quite advanced borders or inner, um, shapes of different shapes. Yeah, that's just a quick overview of the offset polygon. If we are to head here to software training, right, guys don't notice. You've got a variety of different software to recover. And also, you can isolate your search on top of right.
