  "Transcript": "How are you guys in today's video with true cut already works. We're gonna be looking at setting the laser heads height. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mm. So today's video can be final software training. They'll see you. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos. And we also have daily out dates otherwise, back in the programme here. Now, just a quick reminder. Once again, this is a miniseries on the laser cut process. And I will also leave relevant links in description so you guys can follow along. Uh, yeah. So this continuation of the actual laser machine. So this is presuming now we're no longer in the programme, but working and navigating the actual machine. Also a disclaimer. This process might vary depending on the laser career and model you are using. So just maybe refer to your manual if you're not sure how to follow along. So now, like I said, next up, we've already we've already set the, um the U position. Now we're gonna set the zero position, which is the up and down Now. This position also will vary depending on your focal length of your actual laser. Um, so I would say Just refer also back to your manual or your supplier just to find out what is the focal length of your current laser focal length. Pretty much means it's the point where it's gonna focus the most strength to get the maximum power out. It's a bit like trying to burn something with a magnifying glass. Using the sun, you adjust the tour. You find the perfect focal length, most obviously very depending on, have a few factors now, first of all, what we want to do. So we wanna have some form of template of your focal length. This helps, and maybe you've got a piece of cut out of the wood. Let's say for this example, houses maybe 12 millimetres, then you know. Okay, this is the hike your laser head has to be. So then what you'll do is your use your control panel that comes with your laser machine and you want to locate the U. N. Zet setting and set it to the Z or the Z. Then sometimes your sideways arrow keys will adjust the height not up and down, so just keep that in mind so then what you want to do is you want to set your laser up, take your little, um, uh, template block and place it under the laser on your material so that, you know Okay, this is the height my laser needs to be. Then another practise people like to do, which is quite convenient. You will switch on your compressor. So that is the one that will make sure it blows away all the debris and stuff. And then, um, they will also make a sound. So then what you'll do is with your zee, uh, position active and your compressor going, I think you will slowly adjust this laser lower, lower, lower. And as it gets lower, the compressor should start making a higher pitched sound until you finally get to a point where it no longer makes sound. But just just then you know it is by the right position. You can. Then, um yeah, simply a removal. Your your little what? You call this a template? Remove that, and you switch off your compressor for the Meanwhile while you're setting up the rest of your settings and then once that is done, you can also close your lid because then we're gonna be moving to the next setting, setting up the final things. Otherwise, just a quick recap again. So you're gonna be basically setting the Z for your place ahead and make sure you've got a template of the right focal length. Then with your compressor on, you wanna just the talk, the compressor, it's whistling stops or the you know it is the perfect height. Then remove your template and then switch a compressor off them. And then for safety, you can close the lid. Otherwise, um, until the next video. If we head here to software training, they'll see you that you guys will notice.
