- An activation code works only for that major version.
- The paper that ships with the code states whether it is for RouterCAM 3 or RouterCAM 4.
- A RouterCAM 3 code will not activate RouterCAM 4 (and the reverse).
- RouterCAM 3 upgrades only as far as 3.11.20; it does not upgrade to RouterCAM 4.
