- Contour-cut offset values are not one-size-fits-all. Each computer needs its own calibration.
- Default / saved values are a useful starting point, but a new computer still needs recalibration for accuracy.
- FlexiSTARTER can save, export, and import offset-value presets so values do not have to be typed after every reboot.
- FlexiSTARTER and VinylCut X/Y calibration values have opposite signs. Example: VinylCut X=16.000 Y=−64.250 corresponds to FlexiSTARTER X=−16.000 Y=64.250.
- On Flexi, Vinyl4 cuts correctly once each connected computer is calibrated. Remaining offset trouble is treated as more likely on the VinylCut V5 side than on FlexiSTARTER.
- Same job file and parameters from a calibrated laptop can still show a contour offset on another machine until that machine is calibrated.
