"Transcript": "are you guys in today's video? I'll cut. We've been looking at orientation in cutting modes and the importance of it. Otherwise, this is a quick intro first, so today's video can be found on software training. Not cuz, eh? You guys will know that we've got a variety of different Softwares who do cover, and we also upload videos daily. So just keep an eye there for in a new content. Otherwise, back in the programme here now we have covered the basics of orientation before, but I'll just quickly go through Wyatt important with cut moat. So, uh, but before we do that, just a reminder. This is a miniseries on the cut settings, so I'll put our relevant links in the description. And to locate the cut settings will be under this whole paper on top with a little pain or cutting two on it. If you open that, then we have over here under the Cut Settings cut mode, which will be covering over the next few videos. But so let's just quickly first look at orientation and why it's important. So as we can currently see here on this little preview, it shows us where our culture is located and kind of which way it's gonna cut. If you look on our Matthew on the left, it's got an arrow pointing up. That means the design is going to be cutting upwards. So if you lay out your machines similar to this, then, um God, you kind of know which way it's going now, under our documents panel on the right little paper icon. We've got your orientation. So we've got a portrait and landscape. But remember, by default is portrait. But if we go to landscape now, ask you if you want to re orientate your design to the new orientation, I'll just say no. Now we can see the little arrows on the left and then, yeah, under the cutter properties. Now we can see cutters here to the right of the of the design. So now your design is gonna come out this way, And in my personal opinion, I would say this is the better way to work. Keep your orientation in the landscape, seeing that we work with monitors, it's pretty wide so So that way, when you're working on your actual design, let's say canvasses, um, a broad one like this. Okay, then, Yeah, it kind of it makes more sense, because to work now, in portrait, you know, it's just it's a bit confusing. So in my personal opinion, I would say working landscape and then, um, and just realign your cutter in your room or your, uh, workstation, a work area that I'm standing in this matter. So when you're looking at your computer, you know which way the Qatar is gonna go. It all makes sense. You know, our next video when we start covering the cut moat. So So just a quick runs through again. I would say I set your orientation to horizontal You can play around with with a vertical. But like I said, yes, we're confusing from a designer's point of view and then yeah, otherwise, if we quickly, if you guys go to, uh, the programme is really available there just to navigate to downloads. Otherwise, on the software training or towards IAI. Like I mentioned, we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover. And also you can isolate your search here.
