- VinylCut software is registered to 1 computer. If you want to move your software to new computer you will need to [deactivate](#) it, on old one first.

- If you purchased VinylCut on or after 1st June 2019, you are entitled to [upgrade to version 5](#) for free.

    When it comes to trail versions and Demos that different software offers, VinylCut leaves you with a lot of power.

I know sure like any Trail or Demo there will be some sort of limiting factor in order to encourage you to license the product, but if you starting out you might be surprized just how much power they left for you to use.

Licence: Off-line Activation

    This is a great feature if you do not have an Internet connection on the computer that has Vinylcut 5 installed.

But keep in mind however, you will still have to have some sort of way to go online to receive the Off-line Activation code, this could be through a Mobile Phone or Internet Café.

Licence: Deactivation

    There is the misconception that there is no different between uninstalling a program VS deactivation.

When it comes to the use of Licensed software with limitations to the number of active versions per user, then the Deactivation topic becomes of relevance.

    Now why would you have two ways to deactivate a program? The thing to keep in mind is that there are different reasons of deactivation.

If you wondering, why would one need to know how to deactivate VinylCut before installing? Well In order to install the program with the same license on let’s say a new computer, then you would need to first deactivate the current one first.

Upgrade VinylCut v4 to v5 FREE

    A free upgrade from VinlyCut 4 to VinylCut 5 is free if you obtained a license for version 4 on or after 1st June 2019. **Please enter your name, e-mail address, and your serial number for your copy of VinylCut 4.**Please note, you will get a new “VinylCut 5 Activation Code” once you upgrade, and the VinylCut 4 code will become void and software will stop working.
