A VIP member gets an automatic **20% discount** on AM quotations and on the Buythis store when the phone number used at checkout is an active VIP. This index collects the 1 AM tools-channel video that explains how VIP works for clients and that was not yet listed in another AM how-to index. Deduplicated by watch ID across all AM how-to index pages (channel indexes alone do not count as how-to coverage). **Source:** local AM YouTube dump `youtube.jsonl` (tools channel; refreshed 2026-10-18 00:25 SAST). First written 2026-10-18 17:58 SAST with 1 video. **YouTube was not crawled.** The title and watch URL below are taken from the dump as written. The video was **not** watched. The dump has a spoken transcript; the summary is paraphrased from that transcript only (speech-to-text errors such as "chairs"/"chair.co.za" are corrected to Cheers / cheers.co.za). Nothing was invented to fill gaps. **Client-facing how-it-works URLs only:** [https://cheers.co.za/](https://cheers.co.za/) and [https://buythis.co.za/vip](https://buythis.co.za/vip). No management or staff interfaces are linked here. ## English dump titles (1 unique watch URL) AM-channel uploads are framed as **AM training/support sources**. Each watch URL is a source. ### How Cheers VIP works for clients (tools channel) Paraphrased from the dump transcript (2026-03-05): - **What it is:** Cheers VIP is a membership AM wants clients to join. VIP members get a discount; membership is a privilege and is not granted automatically when you only create an account. - **Where to get the app:** go to [https://cheers.co.za/](https://cheers.co.za/) (the page may show a QR code for Google Play) or search for the app on Google Play and install it. You need a cellphone number to receive a WhatsApp code and activate the account. - **How to become VIP:** activating the app account alone does not make you VIP. A VIP friend can scan your in-app QR code; or you can use a one-time voucher code (the video mentions a promotion where emailing for a voucher worked — that offer may end); or an AM sales or support person can activate you with a one-use code from their sheet. - **VIP stays active with purchases:** VIP status expires in about 30 days if you do not buy; each purchase with AM resets the period so regular clients keep the discount and inactive ones lose it. - **On an AM quotation:** once you are VIP, the quotation system only needs the phone number you used to activate. It detects the VIP and applies the **20%** discount automatically on the quote. - **On Buythis:** in the cart the VIP discount is applied by default when your checkout phone number is an active VIP; if that number is not VIP, the discount is removed and regular prices apply. You do not need to keep interacting with the app after activation — keep the VIP account active and the discount applies on your actions with AM. - **Public pages only:** for clients, use [https://cheers.co.za/](https://cheers.co.za/) and [https://buythis.co.za/vip](https://buythis.co.za/vip). Do not point clients at staff or management tools. | Date | Title (from dump) | Watch URL (source) | | --- | --- | --- | | 2026-03-05 | How Cheers VIP Discount Works on AM.CO.ZA Quotation System and Buythis Store | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AbmygL-4cQ | ## Related public pages (no product SKU table) Cheers VIP is a membership, not a machine SKU, so this index does not list Buythis product SKUs. Client how-it-works pages: | Page | URL | Why it is here | | --- | --- | --- | | Cheers (VIP app / membership) | https://cheers.co.za/ | Where clients find the app and VIP membership | | Buythis VIP | https://buythis.co.za/vip | Buythis store VIP page for clients | ## Related AM how-to indexes - [Tools channel index](channel-tools.md) - [Main channel index](channel-main.md) ## Notes - Matching: the AM dump title about Cheers VIP discount on the quotation system and Buythis store, minus any video already in another AM how-to index page. Channel indexes listing the same watch URL do not count as how-to coverage. - Public AM list prices on Buythis are Cheers VIP prices (about 20% off the stock list, still ex-VAT unless noted). Join VIP once via the app (friend scan, AM counter, or voucher). - Older videos may show earlier promotions or screens; quote current VIP rules from the public Cheers and Buythis VIP pages. - Live stock and live voucher campaigns are never stored here.
