This index collects the 10 garment- and fabric-production videos in the AM YouTube dump that are **not** already listed in another AM how-to index. Generic sublimation, heat press and CO2 laser videos have their own indexes (see Related below). Deduplicated by watch ID across all AM how-to index pages (channel indexes alone do not count as how-to coverage). **Source:** local AM YouTube dump `youtube.jsonl` (main / tools channels; refreshed 2026-10-18 00:25 SAST). First written 2026-10-18 15:25 SAST with 10 videos. **YouTube was not crawled.** Titles and watch URLs below are taken from the dump as written. Videos were **not** watched. The only spoken content used is the dump transcripts (machine captions, which mishear some words); **no transcripts** are invented. Four clips have an English dump transcript; the other six have no dump transcript, so only their titles are used. ## English dump titles (10 unique watch URLs) Grouped by topic and sorted by date. AM-channel uploads are framed as **AM training/support sources**. Each watch URL is a source. Matching used dump titles that name garments, clothes, fabric cutting, fusing presses or clothes presses. Deduplicated by watch ID. ### Designing sublimation clothes from garment template patterns (main channel) What the dump transcripts say (the 2025-04-08 video is a full start-to-finish tutorial of about an hour; the 2025-04-09 clip is a short teaser showing the finished shirt on a model and pointing to the long video): - **Buy a pattern and pick a program:** search Etsy for the garment pattern you want (the video uses an oversized t-shirt pattern) and buy it. Design in **Photoshop** (Photoshop only, not the full Adobe suite; it is a monthly subscription billed for a year). CorelDRAW also works but the presenter prefers Photoshop if you don't work with vectors. The same method works for pants, jackets, shirts or a scarf (just a rectangle). - **Open the pattern and check its scale:** open the downloaded pattern pages in colour (not greyscale), add a white layer underneath so the lines show, and read the scale key. On this pattern 50mm on the page is 5cm, a 1:1 ratio; some patterns are a third of full size and you must compensate. Each size (XXS, XS and up) is drawn in its own line style. - **Set up the print document:** File, New, about **1450mm wide** (you can print up to 1600mm, but most shirt fabric is no wider than about 1500mm) and about 2m tall to start, **300 pixels per inch** (not pixels per centimetre). Choose **RGB** for the most vibrant colours, or **CMYK** (the video uses U.S. Web Coated SWOP) when the client's colours must match their artwork; decide up front because converting later doesn't work well. - **Never scale the pattern:** drag the pattern onto the new document and do **not** transform it; it is true to size and resizing means the panels won't stitch together. Keep each size in its own document so files stay small and the computer doesn't slow down. - **Redraw the cut lines:** on a new layer, redraw each panel outline (front, back, sleeve, collar or sleeve band, waist belt) in red with the brush tool, clicking and holding Shift for straight segments and short steps on curves, with a line thick enough to cut along with scissors. Name every layer. Read the pattern notes: seam allowance loses about 1cm on every side, so keep text and logos **at least 2cm** from the edges; allow 2cm at the bottom hem if you don't print the waistband. Stitching is a separate skill, so use a dedicated CMT (cut, make and trim) stitcher. - **Mirror the half panels:** duplicate each half panel, mirror it, line the two halves up with Shift and the arrow keys, merge them and delete the centre fold line. Label every piece with its name and size on the outside of the outline, so mixed sizes can't be stitched together by mistake. - **Lay out and design:** place the panels so the fabric's stretch runs from left to right across the body (people vary in width, not height). Use a cut-line colour that contrasts with the design. Fill each panel on its own layer (magic wand inside the outline, then cut the fill to the panel) so nothing bleeds outside the lines, then add textures, abstract artwork, colour overlays and brush shading. Keep small trims like the collar and waistband as plain accent colours. Place a logo of no more than about **80mm** wide on the chest, roughly halfway between the collar and the armpit line. Use licensed or free-to-use images for anything you sell. - **Print, press and stitch:** print the panels on an AM sublimation printer with the correct ink and paper, press them (AM's other heat press videos cover settings by material), then have them stitched on **industrial** sewing machines, not home machines. | Date | Title (from dump) | Watch URL (source) | | --- | --- | --- | | 2025-04-08 | Making & Designing Clothes in Different Sizes Using Garment Template Patterns | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bH5NA0vsXA | | 2025-04-09 | How To Make Clothes From Templates | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_BDCNDOAhk | ### Laser cutting fabric and printed textiles (main channel, 2017) These five 2017 clips have **no dump transcript**; only their titles are used. They show CO2 laser cutting of clothing fabric: contour cutting printed textiles with a 150W CO2 laser (cloth, t-shirts, swimwear), cutting from the roll on an automatic-feeding conveyor table, contour cutting printed fabric with a CCD camera, and cutting stacked fabric layers for clothing patterns. Older clips may show earlier machine models; quote current specifications from the product pages below. | Date | Title (from dump) | Watch URL (source) | | --- | --- | --- | | 2017-07-04 | Laser Contour Cutting Printed Fabric Textiles with 150W CO2 Laser for Cloth, T Shirt, Swimwear and S | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8spVdE6Qpo | | 2017-07-05 | Clothing Fabric Cutting by Automatic Feeding Conveyor Table CNC CO2 Laser Contour Cutting | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgOl5h90E40 | | 2017-07-05 | Fast and Accurate Fabric Cutting By CNC CO2 Laser Cutting Machine | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UagTucCFwDo | | 2017-07-06 | Printed Clothing Fabric Contour Cutting by Conveyor Table CNC Laser Cutter with CCD Camera | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHjKomHbVU4 | | 2017-07-07 | Accurate Stacked Fabric Clothing Patterns Cut Out by CNC CO2 Laser Cutting Machine | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_3FGjpHWFw | ### Garment fusing and hydraulic transfer press demos (tools channel) The 2024-08-26 large-format belt fusing press clip (2000mm) has no dump transcript. The garment fabric fusing press clip's captions describe the demo: the machine can be used for laminating, fusing and heat transfer; it has a multi-function control panel and a dust removal and cleaning device; pressure is set with a spiral pressure adjuster. You switch it on, set the upper belt temperature, the lower belt temperature and the belt speed (adjustable), place the t-shirt with the vinyl on the belt and let it run through, then remove the vinyl. With automatic shutdown set, the machine switches off once it cools to **90°C**. The 2024-08-26 **fully automatic hydraulic transfer press** clip (captions only, no voice-over) shows a press for t-shirts and flat jersey with an aluminium heating platen and hydraulic oil pump for even heating. You switch it on, set the temperature and time, and choose automatic or manual mode; it has a station switch, an emergency stop (the heating platen rises when pressed) and a counter in automatic mode. In manual mode you place the t-shirt and sublimation paper, push the station switch, the platen drops and rises again when the time is up, and you remove the paper. Automatic mode runs the same cycle and counts each pressing. No garment fusing press or hydraulic garment press SKU was found in the Buythis dump, so neither is listed below; ask AM sales about availability before quoting one. | Date | Title (from dump) | Watch URL (source) | | --- | --- | --- | | 2024-08-26 | Fully automatic hydraulic thermal hot transfer press machine for clothes | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eoVmVk4SnU | | 2024-08-26 | Garment Fabric Fusing Press Machine suit shirt non woven fabric bonding machine | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4xHhzpqbks | | 2024-08-26 | 2000mm Large Format Textile Belt Automatic Garment Fusing Press Machine | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pheQztQSBJw | ## Related SKUs (Buythis dump and am.im product JSON only; no prices, no stock) Product names come from the Buythis product dump (`buythis.jsonl`; **not crawled**) and am.im product JSON. how-to index page. Channel indexes listing the same watch URL do not count as how-to coverage. - After this index, no garment-, clothing-fabric-cutting-, fusing-press- or clothes-press-titled video in the dump is left unindexed in a how-to page. A 2026 daily-channel vlog clip about fabric printing at a client is left to the daily channel index. - Steps are summarised from the dump captions; machine captions can mishear words, so confirm details on the product page or with AM support. - Older videos may show earlier machines or ranges; quote current specifications from the product page. - Live stock is never stored here; check the live stock feed for availability.
