AM sells the FlatPRINT desktop 600×900 mm UV flatbed printers (including the CCD Camera Edition) and larger UV flatbeds, and the F-FLAT roller tables used to feed rigid boards through a hybrid (roll and board) UV printer. This index collects the 14 UV flatbed demo, project and tip videos in the AM YouTube dump that are **not** already listed in another AM how-to index. For FlatPRINT setup, software, maintenance and the full FlatPRINT SKU list, see [FlatPRINT UV flatbed printer how-to videos](flatprint-howtos.md). For UV sticker transfers (a different process), see [UV-DTF how-to videos](uvdtf-howtos.md), and for UV laser marking, see [Laser marking how-to videos](laser-marking-howtos.md). **Source:** local AM YouTube dump `youtube.jsonl` (daily and main and tools channels; refreshed 2026-10-18 00:25 SAST). First written 2026-10-18 14:44 SAST with 13 videos; updated 2026-10-18 19:49 SAST with 1 more (14 videos). **YouTube was not crawled.** Titles and watch URLs below are taken from the dump as written. Videos were **not** watched. Several clips are music-only demos with no transcript in the dump; the only spoken content used is the dump transcripts (machine captions, which mishear some words, and one Arabic-language voice-over that is translated here), and **no transcripts** are invented. ## English dump titles (14 unique watch URLs) Grouped by topic and sorted by date. AM-channel uploads are framed as **AM training/support sources**. Each watch URL is a source. Matching used titles that name UV printing, minus any video already in another AM how-to index (UV-DTF, UV laser and FlatPRINT-titled videos are already indexed elsewhere). Deduplicated by watch ID. ### Customer and showroom projects (2019 to 2021) What the dump transcripts say: - **Photo booth on 3 mm foam board with a hybrid UV printer (2021-03-18):** a husband-and-wife branding business east of Johannesburg prints a stone-cladding and wooden-floor photo booth backdrop on a hybrid UV printer. The printer was set up for thin media such as vinyl, so for 3 mm foam board the presenter raises the print head: move the carriage out with the start-position key, switch the machine off, loosen the four carriage screws (two on each side), place a sample of the board under the head with a small stack of coins on top as a spacer, let the carriage rest on the coins, retighten the screws, remove the board and coins, then switch on so the head returns to its capping station. The roller tables on either side carry large flat boards (the presenter says no thicker than 5 mm). Square the board to the table edges or holes, lower the pinch rollers and jog the board forward and back to check it does not drift sideways (about 2 mm over the test length was acceptable for a 1.5 m print). Set the start position on the keypad, then RIP and send the design; the job printed bi-directionally in six passes. With a melamine board on top, the roller tables double as a work table when not printing. - **Full-colour cardboard box with a UV printer and a laser cutter (2021-04-05):** put registration marks in all four corners of the box template, design the artwork, hide the cut and fold lines and print the artwork plus registration marks on thin card with the UV printer (the presenter says UV ink sticks to almost any surface). For the laser, keep only the outer cut line plus the registration marks, save it as DXF, put the marks on a layer that is switched off so they are seen but not cut, and cut the card (the presenter used work speed 150 and power 45 in the laser software). Hold the card flat with weights, auto-focus the head height, align the red-dot pointer on the first registration mark, test, then cut. Crease the fold lines with even pressure (too little and the print cracks when folded) and assemble with double-sided tape. - The 2019 canvas clip (canvas printed on a flatbed UV printer and framed as wall art) has no transcript in the dump. | Date | Title (from dump) | Watch URL (source) | | --- | --- | --- | | 2019-05-14 | Canvas Fabric Material Printed on Flatbed UV Printer and Framed for Wall Painting Decorations | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvnl4MhvRwY | | 2021-03-18 | UV Board Printing Print-head Height Adjustment Tips and Use the UV Flatbed Table as Prep Table | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RXexr1t29c | | 2021-04-05 | Full Colour Printed Cardboard Packaging Box Made by UV Hybrid Printer and Laser Cutting Machine | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tew-v_Ecz5w | ### Desktop 600×900 mm UV flatbed printer demos (2024 to 2026) What the dump transcripts say: - **Desktop 600×900 mm UV flatbed with two heads (2024-07-21):** this unit had two printheads, one for CMYK and one for white, with stirrers on the white and yellow ink tanks to stop the ink settling. You choose whether white or colour prints first: colour first and white on top suits clear sheet printed on the back (reverse printing), and white first with colour on top suits the front of an object. The video says the bed drops by 200 mm for tall objects and shows a print on a 90 mm high box. Current Buythis product names for the desktop 600×900 mm FlatPRINT units list three heads (CMYK, white and varnish) and a 140 mm Z-axis, so quote the product page, not this older video, for current specifications. - **Printing on granite (2026-05-25, full video and short):** the presenter prints directly on the rough, porous back of a granite piece whose front had been UV-laser engraved. The built-in sensors set the head height, then the print origin is set. The three-head machine lays down a double white layer first to fill the rough surface, then CMYK, then a varnish layer that adds thickness, gloss and protection. A hard scratch test did not remove the print. A second piece printed without varnish and over a broken edge also held. The presenter says the machine was easy to use on a first try, and that the sensors let it print on items such as pens. - **Chromadec panels with variable data (2026-10-13, CCD Camera Edition, Arabic voice-over):** the narration says the AM UV flatbed prints CMYK, white and varnish with three heads, and can print a set of Chromadec panels that look identical while changing one part, such as the location details, on each print without affecting the overall quality. It ends by asking viewers to contact sales. - **Printing on golf balls (2026-07-14, main-channel short):** the presenter tests the claim that AM's flatbed UV printer can print on almost anything, this time on golf balls. A jig that holds four golf balls at a time was made on AM's channel letter 3D printer. The printer's CCD camera picked up the position of each ball, then the flatbed printed on all four. The transcript gives no ink, height or layer settings, so ask AM support for settings before quoting curved-object jobs. - The daily-channel clips (a lion print, a quick ink dryness test, a Spider-Man print on a machine titled F2 UV9060, and AM.CO.ZA stickers) have no usable speech in the dump. The title F2 UV9060 matches no Buythis SKU exactly; the current desktop 600×900 mm units are the F2-6090 range listed on the FlatPRINT index. | Date | Title (from dump) | Watch URL (source) | | --- | --- | --- | | 2024-07-21 | Flatbed UV Printer 600x900mm with CMYK & White Double Printhead for White On Top or Below Printing | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0r69ABoinkE | | 2026-05-25 | Printing Directly onto Granite with a UV Flatbed Printer | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIyAk92LSbg | | 2026-05-25 | Printing Directly onto Granite with a UV Flatbed Printer | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uy5JlVJ4-zE | | 2026-07-14 | Print On A Golf Ball! | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3lbFuiK2VQ | | 2026-08-27 | UV Flatbed Printer Prints Lion Print | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrIm4Sny2h0 | | 2026-08-27 | UV Ink Test To See If Dry | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoQmNVEme9I | | 2026-09-01 | Flatbed UV printer F2 UV9060 Spiderman Print | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UebaENokpzs | | 2026-09-15 | Printing AM.CO.ZA Stickers With UV Printer | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94US8OHmd7E | | 2026-10-13 | Chromadec Print With Flatbed 600 x 900mm Desktop UV Printer CCD Camera Edition! | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNf38agAhVU | ### Setup and surface preparation tips (tools channel) What the dump transcripts say: - **Assembling the F-FLAT table stands (2025-09-29):** clients have been assembling the stand for the hybrid printer's flatbed table wrongly. The shortest bar must run from the top all the way to the bottom, and the other bars join to its side, not on top of it. Stacking the bars on top of each other makes the frame thicker at the top and bottom, so the table ends up at the wrong height. - **Flame treatment on plastic (2026-06-15):** the title says flame-treating a plastic surface before UV printing improves durability and scratch resistance. The dump has no transcript for this clip, so no method details are given here; ask AM support before flame-treating a client's product. | Date | Title (from dump) | Watch URL (source) | | --- | --- | --- | | 2025-09-29 | Correct Way Assemble F-FLAT Printing Table for Hybrid UV Flatbed Printer | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQKVq_WXYe4 | | 2026-06-15 | Flame Treatment on Plastic Surface for UV Printing Durability and Scratch Resistance | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tG_6Gmqx_s4 | ## Related SKUs (Buythis dump and am.im product JSON only; no prices, no stock) Product names come from the Buythis product dump (`buythis.jsonl`; **not crawled**) and am.im product JSON.
