A 600×400mm CO2 laser cuts and engraves wood, acrylic, leather and paper. It's the most common first laser.

TruCUT has two builds at this size: the Lite LC-6040L desktop and the Standard LC-6040 cabinet.

How to choose

LC-6040L Lite comes with 60W or 80W, and a water cooler or refrigeration chiller (the P models).

LC-6040 Standard is a cabinet with options: CCD camera for contour cutting (C), double laser head (D) or separable body (S).

If you need bigger sheets, look at 900×600 or 1300×900.

Objections:

"Can it cut metal?" No. For metal, look at fibre lasers.
"60W or 80W?" 80W cuts thicker material faster. 60W is fine for engraving and thin sheet.
"Cooler or chiller?" A chiller (P) keeps the tube cooler in hot workshops.
