The power source decides how thick you can cut and how clean the edge is.

MetalWise IGBT inverters run from 220V single-phase (60A class) up to 380V three-phase water-cooled units. Hypertherm Powermax 45 to 125A is the premium option.

How to choose

P-METALWISE/45 is 220V single phase, 22–60A at 100% duty: 12mm pierce, 10mm quality cut on mild steel.

The 85 and 125 models are 380V three-phase for thicker plate, and the 165 is water-cooled.

Hypertherm Powermax is for buyers who specify Hypertherm.
