How to move 3D channel letter models (from this page)

The live page body is short; the on-page "Video Transcript" block is the step source. Raw auto-caption is not copied in full; no transcript invented. Cleaned steps from that live block:

  1. This Part 1 is Move tool / 3D transformations starting with Move, named as the first tool when transforming 3D Channel Letter models and shapes in PrintUP.
  2. Import a graphic first (the live block uses the AM.CO.ZA logo and leaves import settings as-is).
  3. The object must be selected before transform tools work; otherwise Move and the other transform tools stay greyed out. Once selected, options appear at the bottom. The live block notes this was briefly covered in the layout section and this page goes into more depth.
  4. Drag with the left mouse button on the selected object to move it. Green and red guide lines show how far it moved up/down and left/right.
  5. Watch X / Y / Z on the bottom left while dragging (Z updates when moving in height). That readout can be used for an exact placement while dragging.
  6. Hold Shift while dragging to slow / smooth the move when the default drag is too sensitive, for aligning to a specific area.
  7. Type X / Y / Z values on the left to place the object exactly.
  8. Make centre: click to send the graphic so X and Y go back to zero.
  9. Just on platform (the live block first says "flat on platform", then corrects to just on platform): if the object is raised, this drops it onto the bottom so it is touching the platform.
  10. Reset at the bottom undoes move changes and returns the object to default.
