How to add AutoCAD markings in FabriCAM (from this page)

The live page body is short; the on-page "Video Transcript" block is the step source. Raw auto-caption is not copied in full; no transcript invented. Cleaned steps from that live block:

  1. This Advanced Machine Configuration Settings part is about adding markings from machine settings onto FabriCAM parts.
  2. Markings are set up first in AutoCAD, then exported and opened in FabriCAM.
  3. With the marking selected, set the added text to mark in AutoCAD (the live block also calls this the layer type). Otherwise it will not work correctly.
  4. In FabriCAM, open Configuration → Machine → Markings and activate both available markings settings. Apply.
  5. Make a new sheet as a base, open the shapes exported from AutoCAD, add them, then nest.
  6. In NC (speed view), zoom in: the marking appears at the bottom left (useful afterwards for product numbers). The live block shows the machine doing the marking first, then the next part.
