How to set and reset Extruders (from this page)

After knowing what layering is, find and set the Extruders for the Layers, and restore them to default values.
  2. Open Preference on the main menu, then Printer. That opens the options / settings dialogue. The two right-hand top tabs are left extruder and right extruder (named as the nozzle heads for those layers). Clicking a tab changes the basic settings shown.
  3. Leave the extruder settings as they are in general; they follow the selected machine. The live demo also names G-code fields and element / new-element choices. Changing values (the live auto-caption demo moves numbers such as 1.12 / 2.1; spelling novel size as printed in the auto-caption; not invented) and clicking OK keeps those values even after closing and reopening the programme. Preferences / Printer then still shows the changed left / right numbers; there is no in-dialogue reset.
  4. To restore factory defaults, copy the original config files over the current ones. Custom settings (the live demo names creating a word) are reset too. Go to the PrintUP install folder (the live demo is under Downloads), open config, then the zip named config (factory default). Copy those files, paste back into the config folder, choose replace files in the destination, then close and restart the programme so the updates take effect.
  5. After restart, Preference / Printer / left and right extruder show 0.8 / 0.8 again (temperatures and related values restored).
