How to export image with new CMYK in CorelDRAW (from this page)

The live page body is short; the on-page "Video Transcript" block is the step source. Raw auto-caption is not copied in full; no transcript invented. Cleaned steps from that live block:

  1. This Printing Black Without the K part is about exporting the image with the new CMYK / fake K. The live block frames export as the most important step: if it goes wrong, K comes back into the image and the final print will not have any black.
  2. With the fake-K image open (multiply layers from Part 2), go File > Export (top-left File menu).
  3. Navigate to the working folder and name the file so the method is obvious (the live block uses a version/method tag plus CMY / fake K).
  4. Set save type to JPEG. The live block notes PNG did not offer a CMYK option.
  5. Confirm the export will merge with background (the multiply layers flatten on export).
  6. The live block stresses colour mode = CMYK, not RGB. Leave the rest of the JPEG options at default unless you need to inspect them, then export.
  7. Optionally export a second copy without the multiply layers (named as a CMY export in the live block) so you can compare.
  8. Confirm K is gone: open the JPEG in Photoshop (the live block says you can also check in CorelDRAW). Colour-picker a dark area (hair / eyes). K should read 0; darkness comes from CMY, not the black channel. Compared with the no-black export, the fake-K file is more readable.
